If you had ten (soon to be eleven) plants to name after scientists, who would you name them after?
[I've counted the twin bamboo shoots as one plant because I've got them tied together like those ones you see in Chinese kitsch stores -- and thinking of naming them Ramón y Cajal.]

ReplyDeleteGeorgius Agricola actually, author of de re Metallica. Because it's about mining and smelting. Written by Mr. "Farmer"...you know, plants 'n stuff.
